The free CPR check

When you check a file, your own browser reads it and it stays on your computer. The file, its name, contents and results are not sent to us or anyone else, and are not stored. The check itself runs locally, and the page only loads its own files (scripts, styles, icon and the PDF reader) from our server. The page's Content Security Policy (connect-src 'none' and form-action 'none') makes the browser block the page from sending data with fetch or forms, and every other source is limited to the page's own address. We therefore process no personal data from your files.

Cookies and statistics

We use no cookies, no local storage and no tracking. If we later count visits, it will be without cookies and without recording file names, contents or results.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), our data processor. Like any web server, Cloudflare may log technical data such as IP address, time and browser type to operate and secure the service.

Early-access sign-up

When you sign up for early access, we store your email address and, if you give them, your company name and number of Microsoft 365 users, together with the page language, the time and your consent. The data is kept in a database at Cloudflare in the EU, and we use it only to contact you about early access. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

To opt out or have your data deleted, email [email protected] and we will delete it. Otherwise we delete it at the latest 12 months after sign-up closes. It is never sold or shared for marketing.

We do not store your IP address. To limit abuse of the form we store a one-way hash of the IP address, used only to count attempts in the last hour. The key for the hash is derived each day from a secret key and the date, so the same IP address gives a new hash every day. Hashes older than an hour are deleted whenever anyone uses the form (or the address /api/waitlist). There is no scheduled deletion beyond that, so if the form is not used again, the latest hash stays until it is. The form sets no cookies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
